You may appear highly capable on the outside — managing work, parenting, family relationships, responsibilities, and expectations — while privately feeling stuck, disconnected, and resentful.

Many of the couples and individuals I work with are thoughtful and self-aware, yet still find themselves repeating painful relationship patterns, struggling to communicate what they need, or wondering why life doesn’t feel the way they imagined it would. One partner pushes for answers and the other pulls away. You try to talk and both people leave feeling discouraged and misunderstood. Everyone is exhausted and nothing you’ve tried on your own seems to work.

Working with me isn’t therapy as usual. We aren’t talking about surface-level communication skills or circling the same argument for months. Together we will untangle the problems that have been plaguing your relationship and I will help you confront them in real time. I’ll listen closely, ask direct questions, and help you slow down the moments that usually go by too fast — the eye roll, the quick “it’s fine,” the silence, the joke that covers up something tender, the moment you stop saying what you really mean.

A lot of my work is helping people get clearer with themselves and each other about what is actually happening. Once we know what’s happening, I’ll help you build pattern recognition so that you know what to do when the pattern shows up again. This type of deep, authentic healing - addressing what’s really going on - brings closeness and clarity, offering a new and better relationship with your partner and yourself.
